With an industry-leading 791 tons of squeeze force (that’s over 1.5 million pounds), this hydraulic tool is the first of its kind to effectively squeeze up to 24″ SDR 7 HDPE pipe – a challenge long discussed in the industry but never realized, until now.

Designed specifically to withstand rigorous field conditions of the Permian Basin, the C2400 tackles one of the biggest challenges in oil and gas infrastructure: minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency in pipeline operations in the toughest environments.

For years, operators and contractors asked for a stronger, more reliable squeeze-off tool to meet increasing use of thick-walled HDPE pipe in high-performance applications.

Since 2018, Footage Tools has been a leader in large diameter squeeze-off tools, successfully supporting squeeze-off of HDPE pipe up to 16″. The growing demand for 24″ SDR 7 squeeze-off capabilities led to collaboration with ISCO Industries (ISCO) to bring something new to life.

Together, we engaged with industry stakeholders, gathered insights, and engineered a tool to close the gap and open new possibilities for maintenance and safety in HDPE pipeline systems.

The first C2400 SQUEEZE BOSS tool was tested in late 2024. Full production units will be ready for use in May 2025. This is a tool built for the field and ready to work.
