Until
now, the method of choice for most irrigation and
landscaping installations under driveways required
an open cut across the driveway, excavating a suitable
hole and then patching the driveway with new asphalt.
This process is not only time consuming and costly,
but is also unsightly and generally not well received
by home owners. Another more costly method is horizontal
boring. The 'Big Shot' eliminates the need for cutting
up a driveway, with no compromise to the existing
landscape. All that is required is a suitable entry
and exit pit for the tool on either side of the driveway.
The 'Big Shot' will create a compressed tunnel under
an average driveway in around 20 minutes. Once, the
tool emerges at the exit pit, simply disconnect the
air hose, attach the new pipe or cable to the air
hose, using our specially designed coupling or a wire
mesh grip, and pull the new line back under the driveway
in seconds. |

Cost
Savings: Eliminates the need for a quick-cut
saw and new asphalt for installing lines under driveways.
Since job is completed considerably faster than the
common method, jobs get done quicker increasing profitability.
Time
Savings: Even the best contractor cannot
compete with the speed of the 'Big Shot', using the
open cut method. The 'Big Shot' is not only fast,
but requires minimal supervision while working, leaving
the contractor free to continue with other installations.
Small
Investment: The 'Big Shot' requires only
a small investment, offering the contractor a profitable
return on the tool purchase in a short period of time. |
